Moar Bagz!*

*Yes, I am a fan of “I can has cheezburger?”

I received the custom embroidery designs for the two organizations that I will be making (and donating) stuff to.  I made some zip bags with them; I’ll post those up once I get permission to share the images.

In the meantime, here are pictures of the two bags I made.  As I stated previously, I changed the pattern.  I opened the seams, sewed on an inner pocket (to hide the back of the design printed on the bag), sewed on the front ‘cover’ with the embroidery, then sewed the bag back up with a far more robust stitch.  I was pleased with the results.

This is the first one that I did.  I discovered that the size of the inner pocket matters, as you can see it under the outside fabric.

Here’s what the pocket looks like:img_2903

And here’s bag #2:

Detail of embroidery (I will get rid of all of the jump stitches that I missed):

And here’s the pocket:

Both of the embroidery designs are available on Embroidery Library.  The Puppy Love stamp is here, and the Rescue design is here.
