We have a friend who makes her own wine.  Last night, she had her spring tasting which doubled as a moving sale (they are relocating to some waterfront property.)

We got there first and we had a lot of time to add to her tasting notes and talk about her future wine making plans.  The terroir at the new property is perfect and she’s hopeful that the new property gets enough sun for grape vines to grow.

A bonus to showing up early is that she decided to uncork last year’s vintage for 2 of the wines she was featuring.  It was a beautiful way to demonstrate how the wines age – and they were absolutely amazing.

We purchased a case of her wines and just might pick up some more before they move.  Because in my opinion there is no such thing as having too much wine in the house.
