It’s an annual tradition: we put in our vegetable garden over Memorial Day weekend. This year there was a twist: we planted annuals in one of the flowerbeds in the front.
The annuals looked kind of sad yesterday; shock and heat took its toll. I watered them and they bounced back.
Of course, we had our annual evidence of wildlife messing with our garden. Namely a marigold was plucked out of the ground. Luckily it was nearby so I put it back in the ground. Damn starlings. They have a long rich history of messing with our plants.
